The PVS14 multi-purpose night vision monocular is a professional device that is designed for observation at dusk and at night, demonstrating the highest quality of form and functionality. The device is made of durable material, has a light and compact body with a built-in LED IR illuminator with an output power of 20 mW. This device is compatible with any daytime optics and adapts to photo and video cameras. Night vision is provided thanks to a modern photocathode tube on an electron-optical converter (EOP). The bright light cut-off function protects the high-quality photocathode tube from strong point light.

This device is specially designed for military use, as it was designed in accordance with military standards to ensure the following purposes - observation or movement in the dark, reconnaissance operations, staying in unlit rooms, for use by drivers of cars while driving in the dark, fog or in conditions of poor visibility. Using a special attachment, the device can be attached to a helmet, which frees the user's hands.

The value of the observation range in meters strongly depends on the class and technical characteristics of the EOP, the density of the atmosphere, the contrast between the observed object and its background, as well as the size of the object.

• Provides the possibility of high-quality photo and video recording (using the internal thread on the eyepiece of the device).
